Jessie damman

I am a hard worker and I am able to work independently and also with a group. I am very creative and I like to bring my creativity and imagination into everything that I do. I am able to organise myself according to the situation. I adapt well to my surroundings, working well internally as well as externally.

I’m currently studying on a 3 year Textiles course at Manchester Metropolitan university

Currently studying Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan.

- Participated and Organised activities and trips with the local youth centre.

Here I gained first-hand experience working with a team and also individual work; I also developed my communicational skills, and was able to flourish in confidence while volunteering as we involved ourselves in many types’ discussions.

- Helped out in departments fashion show, by photographing the models and backstage.

- Participated in the organisation, creation, as well as working with artist from the Hayward gallery to produce artwork to be projected onto the side of the Hayward gallery (South bank, London)

Work of experience

Ÿ  Brent Cross Borders Book store, where I stocked shelves and assisted customers.

Ÿ  I have worked for the Dutch Gardening Company, helping with admin and other miscellaneous jobs as well as manual labour.

Ÿ   Worked as a waitress in Papa Dells Restaurant for over a year this included Preparing the food for the chief in the morning, barista work, as well as serving and interacting with customers.

Extracurricular activities

Ÿ  I have a keen interest in art and photography as well as tetiles.

Ÿ  I have participated in cycling and swimming for different charities.

Ÿ  I have participated in different sport teams in my school.

Ÿ  I also frequently organise Friends and families Celebrations, this helping my organisational and communication skills develop.
